Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln have a huge role in shaping thinking in the modern Western world. They were born on the same day, in the same year, only four and a half hours apart from each other. They are absolute astrological twins. Such is their public role, although at first glance it may look quite different.
Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln have a huge role in shaping thinking in the modern Western world. Lincoln abolished slavery in America, while Darwin justified biological evolution. Lincoln introduced the equality of races, and Darwin – of species. Both were opponents of slavery. Some consider that Darwin’s hatred of slavery has driven him to emancipate all life.
Darwin and Lincoln also have many other things in common. Lincoln had four children, two of them died in their early childhood and one at the age of 18. Darwin had ten children, two of them died in their early childhood and one at age of 10. Both men lost their mothers early – when they were 8 and 9 years old. They both fought depression and have stomach problems, the latter being stronger with Darwin. Both are tall, as Lincoln is taller by 10 centimeters and with his 193 centimeters is the tallest American president. They both have a mole on the right nasolabial fold. And of course, to the surprise of many, they have great physical similarity despite their different hairstyles and Lincoln’s leanness. The intention felt in their eyes is strikingly identical.
Both men were hypersensitive, which largely determined their role in society. Their painful sensitivity is implanted in their horoscopes and relates to their mental and physical health. Both are born when the planetary representatives of this sensitivity are on the strongest places for the day – when they are rising or culminating.
“Whenever I hear anyone arguing for slavery I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.” – Abraham Lincoln
“The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.” – Charles Darwin
This is a story of the exacerbated sympathy imposed by cosmic influences at the right time and place.
