Pluto, Civilization and Bulgaria

Pluto, Civilization and Bulgaria

One of the most ancient forms of is called mundane astrology. Also it is referred as to social or political astrology. Mundane astrology deals with the fate of nations and humanity. It explores long-term historical trends rather than their fleeting exceptions. Some individuals may be only mildly or atypically influenced by an astrological influence due to the peculiarities of their horoscopes. The individual, however, does not define the mood of the masses. He cannot escape the historical trends that sooner or later are going to carry him away.

The influences public astrology traces are powerful, all-embracing, far-reaching and imperative. For this reason, it is more accurate than the personal astrology. However, it is not an undemanding discipline, because it requires knowledge of the history, culture and objectivity. The rulers of all time have used it, and keep on using it today. Those who disrespect or dislike its laws always proved to be on the losing side.

Ultimately, the rules remain true despite the exceptions. Trends make history, although the ideas are generated by individuals. Ideas emerge constantly but whether they will take root and enter the history depends on the prevailing attitudes and therefore on the mundane astrological influences.

Astrology reveals that the small things may be mightier than the big ones. It shows that the invisible things can leave more perceptible traces than obvious ones. Mundane astrology shows how weak long-lasting influences may have more decisive social impact than strong specific ones. Distant planets, for example, have a greater impact on historical processes as they move through the zodiac slowly and the aspects that they form continue long enough to maintain the historical direction. Similarly seasons are more important for the agriculture than short-term storms and weather anomalies. Tides are more crucial for the contour of the coastline than the individual waves. In such a way the slow, distant planets have profound universal influence and affect history of civilization.

In stark contrast to the historical materialism that believes, pretty simplistically, that history is moving rectilinearly and that culture is a product of the means of production, Mundane astrology sees that development of mankind is governed by natural cycles and is dependent on influences far beyond the immediate living conditions.

Let’s take for example the farthest and slowest moving planet Pluto. Its movement has an enormous impact on development of civilization. Pluto cycle is nearly 250 years and has a deep transformative role to humanity. Each Plutonian sidereal revolution opens new horizons for the mankind. Provisionally, Capricorn may be considered the beginning of the zodiacal cycle. When Pluto enters this sign he tends to destroy the existing conservative formations, to revaluate values, leading to a radical sociopolitical transformation of humanity.

Of course, Plutonian influences are slow and it takes time to manifest themselves. Only the planet entering a zodiac sign lasts about a year. However, history shows that the key transformative events are near to the beginning of Plutonian cycles. Thus the American Revolution broke out soon after the beginning of the previous Pluto cycle in 1765; the New World was rediscovered and its settlement began during the onset of the cycle before it, and the European Renaissance began one more cycle ago. The current economic crisis has also begun with the advent of Pluto in Capricorn and it has particularly acute and profound social implications.

New values are born at the beginning of each Plutonian cycle. Usually amidst the cycle decisive steps are undertaken toward accomplishing its central theme. During the second half of the cycle its main goal is achieved and becomes institutionalized. That which was once new becomes stagnation and burden, waiting to be rejected in the next cycle.

The influence of Pluto on Bulgaria is especially obvious and strong, it seems to me. My personal impression is that the history of Bulgaria clearly pulsates with the Pluto cycles. Partly this is so because the Thracian lands bear the character of Capricorn and Cancer, and partly because Bulgaria is a small country situated on the crossroad between the eastern and the western cultures and is relatively easily influenced by civilizational processes and crises. Whenever Pluto enters Capricorn and the world takes another quality leap, Bulgaria attempts to differentiate, liberate and change itself. Then it tries to squeeze out of barbaric and backward political influences and to join the progressive world, which historically are Byzantium or Europe.

The table below shows the beginning and the middle of the last seven cycles of Pluto or his last seven advents in Capricorn and Cancer respectively, and the relevant political events in Bulgaria. The very beginning of a Pluto cycle lasts at least a year, since Pluto enters twice in the signs for a period of about a year. Pluto sojourns in the zodiac signs from 12 to 32 years due to its highly eccentric orbit.

The beginning of a Pluto cycle in which the old values began to crumble lasts until Pluto resides in Capricorn. The last time Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 and unlocked the global crisis. The transit will last until 2023-2024 when it will enter the next sign Aquarius when the new values will be established in effect. The change that Pluto introduces is so profound and comes so slowly that only after it takes place people will be able to realize what it was like by comparing with the past.

Matches between the beginning of Plutonian cycles and the beginning of political transformations in Bulgarian and in world history are clear. The influence of this most distant and slowest planet is the foundation on which the influence of the faster and closer planets superimposes. Pluto creates a basic topography of the historic landscape while the other planets complete it and decorate with details.

The table shows clearly that the restoration of the Third Bulgarian state in 1878 happens about 37 years before Pluto arrives at the second half of its cycle, which takes place in 1913. Indeed, the liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule in 1878 is merely juridical. It led to recognizing the existence of Bulgaria, but neither liberates the entire county not freed it politically. The Preliminary Treaty of San Stefano formally liberated Bulgaria from the Turks, but gave it to the Russians. The true liberation is yet to come.

April Uprising 1876, the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, the Unification of Bulgaria 1885 and international recognition of Bulgarian independence 1909, happened before mid-Pluto cycle. These events can be seen as a prelude to the true liberation of Bulgaria. The country achieved genuine independence and maximum territorial integrity after the First Balkan War in 1913, which coincides with the mid-Pluto cycle. As a result of the First Balkan War, the Ottoman Empire lost its possessions on the Balkan Peninsula and Bulgaria received parts of Macedonia and Thrace and considerable independence of Russia.

World War II began with the advent of the suspicious Pluto in the selfish Leo that boosted both the nationalist and communist attitudes. Pluto is the focus of the horoscope on 9th of September 1944. On this day the Soviet Union occupied Bulgaria and began to transform it into one of its communist colonies. Then Pluto is on the destructive degree of the tyrannosaurus, which is often manifested in the charts of ideologists of Communism and especially reinforces the violent conquest spirits. Pluto is certainly relevant to military expansions.

Sometimes the communist ideology is presented as a natural result of evolution of reasoning and the communist state system – as an inevitable result of economic development. Some people may present the communist ideology as a natural result of evolution of reasoning and the communist state system – as an inevitable result of economic development. But if communism was a natural part of Bulgarian development its occurrence had to be synchronized with the slowest hand of the planetary clock – Pluto – and should coincide with the beginning of the Pluto cycle that produces profound transformations, especially those concerning somebody else’s property or foreign lands. But this correlation is absent. Instead of this on 9th of September 1944 Pluto helps the savage, predatory instincts that resonate particularly well with communist ideology. Therefore, from purely astrological considerations can be concluded that communism is not a result of the Bulgarian history but is introduced by force in Bulgaria. And that the so-called of 9th-of-September communist revolution was a “red” military take-over.

Pravetz_Imko_Running_1Astrology is a powerful tool to understanding the human nature and therefore can be used to influence the history. The reader can now understand why during the communist regime KGB and State Security used astrology and why official communist ideology supressed its popularity. For instance, not a single astrological book was published for the entire reign of communism in Bulgaria. At the same time the charts of the State Security candidates, even the peripheral ones, were cheeked for reliability. ‘Pravetz’ computers, named after the birthplace of the communist party and state leader, performed this check during the 80’s. We can only hope that Secret Services haven’t succeeded in making the best use of it.
